Aha ! No picture!

Anyway, I was looking to reroute my front unlock cable to my tow plug and came across what looks like a temperature probe on the underneath the passenger side front grill on my 03 non S model. Only thing is - I don't have an outside temperature display in the car. I normally just put my hand outside and check it manually. If it isn't a temperature probe - what is it?

physical description: pointy on the front end. Wire coming out of the back end.
