You'll also be able to open the frunk with ease if you take a few moments to relocate the emergency hood release cable to where the tow hook screws in the front bumper. It's easy to do the relocation and it's even easier when cleaning the front radiators,

good advise

I quickly learned several things.

1. Don't leave the radar detector plugged in for days at a time if you are not running the car. It seems to be about 6.5 days then the battery goes dead. (only because I run the car every 7th day)

2. Putting 12 volts to the cigarette lighter will give you enough to turn off the alarm and access the battery.

3. Battery Tender makes a great charger/ maintainer that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

4. DO NOT let the young kid from AAA try and jump through the fuse panel cause Billy Joe Bob at Cresent Wrench Repair says it's easy to do and he's on the cell phone just in case things go wrong. Insist on having him use the jump box, plug into the cigarette lighter to turn off the anti theft and then access the Battery to jump start.
