That website is disturbing. But should be shown to all young drivers. I read that before the age of 25 the frontal lobe of the human brain is not fully developed, the part of the brain that registers risk and controls the body's reaction times.

Probably caught up in the excitement of driving a fast exotic, its more likely that she got the break and gas pedals mixed up

Never Allow A Stranger To Drive Your High Performance Car!!
Friend of mine is a GM for a local Porsche dealership. He said the GT is a handfull without the TC turned on. Driver probably over torqued, spun and over corrected...who knows? I had a chance to drive a 2005, 911 Turbo and had to laugh, my friend told me to "punch it" on an on-ramp and I said I could'nt get it over 56! He said, " your lookin at the outside temperature guage you jerk!, look one guage left, I did and it read 125mph! Got too used to the center location for speed readout on the Box! Lesson learned! At 125mph the 911 felt like...well...56! What an awsome machine...someday maybe!

some day LOL me wishes too!
my friend has a client who has a 996 Turbo and a Carrera GT! LOL
he's 67 and has a hangar full of cars and Ducatis.
(He's also suing President Bush over a Patent issue)
umm actually I'm glad I only have 250 HP. If you give me that kind of power I'll be doing 125 on the off ramp too and get myself killed.

This guy doesn't live in Dallas by chance? The original owner of my '97 had a stable supoosedly and "forgot" the Boxter in for service in Denver. That's how the dealer and I got hooked up. The guy didn't want to come up to Colorado to get it...sold it to the dealer (only 9700 miles on it). Anyway I'm havin' a blast with the car! Just want to avoid trees!

Interesting...I didn't think George had the intellect to actually patent anything.
...I wonder if we just pinged the super-computers at the NSA??????

CGT crashes
TIt seems like the only time I read about CGTs on the 'net is when they are crashed. I hope it does not go the way of the original Turbo. There were many lawsuits because "nobody told me it would be a fast car".
