Troubleshooting the soft top compartment?

Terrible rattle. Only with top up.

Can I unpin the cover while it's in the inbetween stage so when it's closed and top up I can fish around in there?

Don't want to go adjusting cables and take blind shots because it works great with no lag.

Thanks.

ETA....FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Black plastic cover over the little motor behind the top brake light. Drop of construction adhesive, done.

Now I need to figure out where all the non attached clips and elastic loops go! Lots of soft top straps hanging.
