I just dipped my wheels last week
with the black and glossifier. Unless the stuff that comes in the gallon cans is different I would not waste my time on trying to achieve a gloss finish with the glossifier plasti dip as it does not do much. My wheels look more satin than gloss. It is what it is, but you are not going to get a gloss, let alone a high gloss look from the plasti dip based on my experience and I did use about 5 coats of gloss over about 5 coats of black so it is not like I skimped on the product.
