Just put a piece of duck tape over the little hole at the front edge of the gas filler area. Noise will be gone. Mine has been covered for 2 years no codes and no issue filling with fuel. Also passed our emissions testing without any issues. The hole is hard to see but with the fuel door open it will be on the front side of the door.

Please, will somebody specify exactly what valve, or post a part number? This has nothing to do with wind flow...the "howling" or "whirring" noise from near gas filler cap immediately goes away when you lift off accelerator.

In this thread, at least 3 different valves are cited as the problem. Driving me nuts, would love to order correct part and take care of it. Thank you.
