250K Miles

Yep, the Jägermobile has over 252,000 miles on it. I just returned from a 3600 mile road trip to the Ozarks and back. I had a great time and the Jägermobile ran flawless. These cars are amazing, the harder you push them, the more they want to go.

"The harder you push them, the more they want to go". Kinda like my ex-wives.

Sorry to bring up yet again an oh-so-recurring topic, and my apologies if you've answered this before, but...original IMS bearing?

No, I replaced the original IMS bearing with LNE bearing (single row) at ~209,000 miles.

That is a goal I want to reach...IMS at 209k miles, say no more. Great job driving the car like it was meant to be driven.

Just to put this in perspective: You've driven further than the distance from the earth to the moon! Congrat's!

I think that you'd have to leave the top up for a trip like that...

209K on a single row IMS bearing? Well done...you must be a gamblin' man!

Sounds like the one you had gave truly impressive service...ever worry the new one won't last as long as the old one would have???

I replaced the IMS bearing again at 243,000 miles... I had the transmission down so while I was in there I went ahead and replaced it. No issue with the LNE bearing just not quite as smooth as it was when new. BTW I replaced it with another LNE bearing.

Fantastic! These cars are like tough little military tanks when they are given care and driven right.Maybe there is a Quarter Mill decal out there somewhere.
