I love my Boxster thread.

5+ years, 1 IMS, 1 front-end respray later.

I still love driving it. There's nothing else like it. I still turn around to look at it every time it's parked. I LOVE MY BOX.:dance::dance:

(Just posting to counter-post all these sad threads out there.)

I must confess |I do occasionally fall out of love with my Boxster when I get a big repair bill. It helps that I have found a new indy shop where the owner has a Boxster
with double the miles mine has. Yes this is a great community of fellow Boxsterites. :)

Since making it my weekend toy, I love it even more. I find myself looking forward to Fridays and the opportunity to go driving!

I love mine too, one of best cars I've owned. Aside from my college car, used to go 4 Wheeling in it, won't do it with the Boxster though!

Mikelove 09-06-2013 08:02 AM

Yeah i love it too and mine lol. Best car ive had too. I love polishing it and putting leather cream into the seats lol

Nine8Six 09-06-2013 08:12 AM

I like the 986, but don't love it. I try not to mix any strong feelings with cars... hurts less when the engine blows up lol

Pics looks great

I am in LOVE with my Boxster! I'm actually waiting to receive my LED headlights and tailights so I can do a photoshoot of it too.

If anyone wants tips here's some:

And that's exactly why I got/imported my 2nd engine from there, in Milton Keynes. What a trip... hanslope park surrounded by sheeps, that was funny.

Over 5 years here with my '00S and every time I look for a new toy, the Boxster sucks me back in. Just did the DrColorchip thing on the hood this week and it came out great! I find myself looking for things to do maint.-wise on it!

I don't own one but the SO and I work on it quite a bit. I tell ya, it's takes a lot of patience to work on Porsche H6.

There are days I tell her to get rid of the Boxster but there are days I want to keep it. It's a love and hate relationship.

The French Dude 09-06-2013 09:06 AM

I love it so much that it will go on Monday for ims retrofit :D
