I love my Boxster thread.

5+ years, 1 IMS, 1 front-end respray later.

I still love driving it. There's nothing else like it. I still turn around to look at it every time it's parked. I LOVE MY BOX.:dance::dance:

(Just posting to counter-post all these sad threads out there.)

I love your pics !

I must confess |I do occasionally fall out of love with my Boxster when I get a big repair bill. It helps that I have found a new indy shop where the owner has a Boxster
with double the miles mine has. Yes this is a great community of fellow Boxsterites. :)

fusionist 09-06-2013 07:31 AM

I love my Boxster too!!! and yours.

heliguy 09-06-2013 07:33 AM

I love your '03

HAUSIDMT 09-06-2013 07:43 AM

Since making it my weekend toy, I love it even more. I find myself looking forward to Fridays and the opportunity to go driving!

BobMarley1 09-06-2013 07:56 AM

I love mine too, one of best cars I've owned. Aside from my college car, used to go 4 Wheeling in it, won't do it with the Boxster though!

Mikelove 09-06-2013 08:02 AM

Yeah i love it too and mine lol. Best car ive had too. I love polishing it and putting leather cream into the seats lol

Nine8Six 09-06-2013 08:12 AM

I like the 986, but don't love it. I try not to mix any strong feelings with cars... hurts less when the engine blows up lol

Pics looks great

I am in LOVE with my Boxster! I'm actually waiting to receive my LED headlights and tailights so I can do a photoshoot of it too.

If anyone wants tips here's some:

And that's exactly why I got/imported my 2nd engine from there, in Milton Keynes. What a trip... hanslope park surrounded by sheeps, that was funny.

Yeah i sold a 911 turbo engine on ebay, that went to the usa as did the gearbox

SeanZ4 09-06-2013 08:44 AM

Over 5 years here with my '00S and every time I look for a new toy, the Boxster sucks me back in. Just did the DrColorchip thing on the hood this week and it came out great! I find myself looking for things to do maint.-wise on it!

I don't own one but the SO and I work on it quite a bit. I tell ya, it's takes a lot of patience to work on Porsche H6.

There are days I tell her to get rid of the Boxster but there are days I want to keep it. It's a love and hate relationship.

The French Dude 09-06-2013 09:06 AM

I love it so much that it will go on Monday for ims retrofit :D

986_c6 09-06-2013 08:13 PM

Thank you for starting this thread Ekam. THE Boxster is the only car I have kept for 11 years now, and hopefully another 11 more!!!!!!

I do enjoy my boxster. There are issues, but what a great machine. I even like it when its like this. With the proper equipment it is not hard to work on.

I prefer it like this. Ready to rock. It's like the Jeep in the back round, purpose built, and it does full fill that purpose oh so well. Great times are just a turn of the key away

As stated in another thread it's hard to not have one, once you've had one. I have other vehicles in the fleet but none do what the current Porsche can do.

Of course if you need to haul something besides butt, It helps to have the right stuff. For getting there on hard surfaces and loving the ride the Boxster rules.

Thanks for starting the thread.

I totally agree, everytime i sit in her and turn the key, as soon as she fire's up the feeling transports me to a world where there is no day to day problems or bull...t,just a world of fun and pleasure. She's been out of action for a couple of months now while i fit the GT3 kit etc but the end is in sight, OH!! i can't :dance::dance:waithttp://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1378574538.jpg
