I need Litronic headlight replacement advise!!
I was backed into. Driver fled. Chased 10 blocks. No license, bunk insurance. After adding false police reports and no insurance, she broke down down and admitted fault, and had another policy.
Anyway, I need bumper painted (will fill plate holes) and driver fender painted. The driver's Litronic was damaged and the clear squirter.
The last thing I want is a new drivers light and cloudy passenger light. Are there aftermarket units or shoud I find a clear pair used that is about the same as one new light?
Any cool LED upgrades??
Thanks, Tim

Perhaps you can find a unit of similar age and condition from a dismantler. Call around and see what they have to offer. The insurance payment might also cover the cost of polishing the both headlights.

I had them professionally polished. They sure looked better, but they are yellowed a bit from the inside. Car was from the desert area west of LA.

I'm always an advocate of the LED lights. I think they're amazing.

I would really like LED DRL and keep Litronic for night, but don't see that option online.

So are those litronics with LED? Sold as sets? Very nice.
Ideally I'd like the LEDs to be half circles outside the litronic lamp.
I'm going to research the tiny LED I saw in a Caymen side scoops. I think it was just a single dot or light.

If so then just smash both lights in your garage and go shopping at the mall right after, park in the dark. Make sure to spread some broken glass on the ground and call the cops to report vandalism.
Very simple.... claiming your money back from your insurance from time-to-time is not (that) illegal
