Now that ATP Blue is off the market...
What's next, what are the other options for a good brake fluid. I believe the last flush the Boxster got it was with ATP Blue. I'm looking at flushing the fluids soon, need new coolant and want to keep the awesome braking integrity alive.

I switched from Blue a long time ago. Lately I have been using Motul RBF (600/660). The downside is that it makes ATE look dirt cheap.
Also ATE gold200 is the same stuff if you liked the performance.
Castrol SRF is supposedly the top of the top but also has a price tag to match.

Good thing I still have a few cans left!

ATE is still around and making brake fluids; for some reason, the government objected to the blue dye they used in the one version of their fluids:
Some Blue Brake Fluid Recalled Due to Wrong Color
WASHINGTON August 24, 2013 (AP)
A company is recalling about 488,000 units of brake fluid because its color is wrong.
Each type of brake fluid has a color requirement so it can be identified. The brake fluid being recalled is blue, rather than in the range of colorless to amber that is required.
According to documents posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website, Continental Aftermarket GMBH is recalling some ATE Super Blue Racing DOT 4 brake fluid because it could be misidentified and improperly mixed in the braking system. Highway safety officials say that could lead to brake damage or failure.

It will still be available everywhere, one batch that was dyed with the wrong dye was recalled, nothing more.

And if the street value of the Blue hits $100 a can I'll be quitting my day job, lol!

I bought 4 cans from MAPerformance.com and they arrived today. (Oddly I couldn't seem to find it today when I went to post a link here).
The cans are labeled with something along the lines of "For off road use only due to non conforming color"
Unsure if that was the same message that it has always had. But I am now the proud owner of 4 cans

IIRC, the Federal government banned blue colored brake fluid about a decade ago. Its concern was that people would mistake a brake fluid leak, which is a real safety issue, with leaking windshield cleaner fluid and ignore the problem because the colors were similar. And so, the gold brake fluid remains on the market.

You can buy uv dye additive and use a black lite
