madmods; the only way to access the LEDs is to open up the headlights. From what I understand, the materials used were very low quality, including the outer plastic lens. Some were cracking just from exposure, so I would not risk the money on them, not to mention trying to open them. The LEDs in these are also notorious for going out quickly or not working at all.

I resent this
I've owned both the Gen 1 and Gen 2s. Gen 1 never had any LEDs go out. Gen 2 has stronger plastic which has withstood 130F Arizona summers.

Where can i find 2nd gen headlights, and what is the difference between the those two cosmetic..?
