it's my understanding that it's Maine and Vermont that wants to become Canadian- not the other way around.

Let me see, we have westerners who want to be rid of southern Ontario and Quebec. Yeppirs, that'll work... Although the more I think about it, a country made up of Ontario and Quebec, the two founding nations as Upper and Lower Canada, would no doubt get along much better without the western provinces.... And we'd get to keep Canda's manufacturing base, its largest agricultural base, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the world's largest supply of fresh water, huge hydro electric production in Niagara Falls and James Bay.....
 Cheers!

My next posting is in Tanzania in Feb 2015 until 2019..... I have a feeling I will be missing Quebec during these 4 years so please do not trade it off too soon. At least keep the French girls... just relocate them to B.C where most of my family relatives are living

I'm with ekam on the chicks from Montreal! And JD, no idea what 'queefing' is, but if it is a problem, like the US we probably have it!

In Canadian speak, it's pronounced with an "eff" sound rather than an "eef" sound. Queffing

I guess I am showing my age, but I had never heard that expression before. The sound it describes, yes, but not the expression! Anyway, thanks to everyone for 'educating' me in the appropriate term for this critical bodily function.

Here's another tip from one "old guy" to another:

Never.........make a hand sign that requires you to hold the tip of your third finger with your thumb!

Just sayin'.....................
