Anyone on here have an IMS failure with Tiptronic trans?

So we are suppose to be shifting at 3500-4000K ? Cars always seem to shift easier to me around 4K.

I upgraded my IMSB after seeing loads of metal particles in the oil filter (oil pan etc etc...) and it is a tip with 160.000 km on it (100.000 miles)

I've read your narrative of the diagnostic workup and ultimate surgical intervention on your Tip-equipped M96. Thanks for sharing it.

I've since vowed to become downright obsessive with my oil changes and inspections of my newly-installed LN magnetic drain plug.
