I trust that you trust your mechanic with that thing.

Item #6 on Mr. Positive's list is probably the one that would cause you to check into the looney bin for an extended stay. Plus, you know where your mechanic lives. Be sure he knows this.

I'm being silly. The shop that's doing the work is one of the most highly respected, full-on Porsche race facilities in the US. There's guy's can change an IMS bearing in their sleep.

JD, I didn't expect you would take it to some backyard butcher and, in any event, the number of bad installations seems to be quite small in spite of some questionable installers. No doubt at all they will do it right!

Well JD if it all goes south then you can take it for the big upgrade for 16 big ones at Rabys/Ln engineering/flat 6. As a goodwill gesture I will kick in the first $ if it does not work....

Mind you you are not the first one to have it done but it probably feels like it to you.
You have my utmost sympathy as I watch your JD mobile go under the knife like a lamb to the slaughterhouse. In the meantime I put my trust in the IMS Guardian which is mere training wheels for the real thing. I am green with envy.
