Great Deal on Mobil 1 Oil
Amazon.com lists Mobil 1 0W-40 Synthetic Motor Oil - 1 Quart (Pack of 6) for $41.97, with FREE shipping. State sales taxes may apply.
Also, Mobil 1 is offering a $12.00 per 5 quart rebate until May 31, 2013.
If my math is correct (and it is), that works out to $4.995 per quart, and the offer is valid for any Mobil 1 product.
Personally, I have already ordered 12 quarts.
Be advised I neither work nor profit from any Mobil 1 sales; just passing on the info.
As we say in Texas, just sayin'............

I ordered my oil at 11:00 last night so I'll have to blame my lack of observation skills on fatigue.

Should be available to you in Dallas. Just saw the 5qt jug about a month or so ago just north of you. So excited, I almost bought a jug. But its about time!

I bought my used Boxster when it was at 49k miles. Of the six oil changes, only two were synthetic mobil1. The rest were of high quality regular oil. Now, the mileage is at 100k miles with no issue. I will continue to use regular oil and save a ton of money. I think synthetic is overkill if the oil change internal is anything less than 7k milles. Just my 2 cents....

And the 5 quart jugs cut the amount of time to do an oil change by at least 10 minutes, plus the empties can be reused to recycle the oil.
