JOB DESCRIPTION:
DeMan Motorsport, the premier independent Porsche motorsport facility of the Northeast is seeking service technicians/ mechanics to join their team. Must have broad knowledge of Porsche mechanics and be versatile and skillful at delivering high quality work. All level Porsche technicians will be considered. This is a full-service shop for racing and street vehicles with all customization, maintenance, performance modifications, collision repair, paint, construction, etc done entirely in-house. Track-side support is also a critical part of the business. Facility is located 45 minutes north of Manhattan. Compensation varies by experience and consists of salary plus benefits.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Work as a member of the technical team on diagnostics, service, support and construction of Porsche racing and street vehicles.
• Trackside support at racing events (some travel required)
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
• Direct technical experience with Porsche automobiles
• Porsche certified training is beneficial but not required
• Must provide your own tools
• Motorsport experience, including trackside support is beneficial but not required
• Good attitude, good with people, dedicated to delivering optimum service to a knowledgeable, high-end clientele.
• Capable of working to a schedule, taking direction and working as member of a team
• Ability to maintain a high-level of activity, multi-task and perform work with precision and efficiency.
• Current drivers license with clean record

Boasting 25,000 square feet, it is one of the largest after-market, state-of-the-art, Porsche motorsport facilities in the United States. Owned and operated by Rick DeMan, an engineer within the automotive industry for more than 20 years and a skilled sport driver who holds several victories in Porsche Club of America (PCA) and Historic Sports Car (HSC) Racing events.
