Refurbished Alloys and Painted Callipers

Just thought I'd share some pics of my freshly powder-coated/refurbished alloys and painted callipers on my year 2000 Boxster 2.7.

The accentuated shadow effect on the alloys is got by silver on black spraying. I love 'em: they give the car a real modern look.

The callipers were originally black and I used Halfords red enamel calliper paint (brush-on). Decals from ebay and a VHT clear-coat spray over the decals only.

Also replaced the rusty wheel bolts with new ones.

Looks good on that color, how much did the powder coat cost?

Thanks juicepro - well on this side of the pond the powder-coating cost 400 Euro ($530). Like most things, I'm sure it's cheaper in the States!

Great job.
I recently did the same with my wheels and calipers but chose yellow.
Turned out amazingly good ! I used Duplicolor caliper paint kit and plastidip paint for my rims.

cheers
