In the two and a half years that I've owned this 99 Boxster, I've never had so much fun driving than I did this past weekend driving from Sacramento to Point Reyes just north of San Francisco! The twisties starting from San Rafael to Point Reyes was awesome! The Boxster was so balanced and the handling was awesome! Those poor people in their front wheel drive cars.... LOL
I could easily double any hairpin post speed limit. (Well, I'm exargerating now)
Basically, a posted 25 mph I can comfortably do 40.
And I have no idea those folks in their BMW 3 series can't go faster....
I'm going to go again this weekend...may be take a trip to Avenue of the Giants....
Also, a few more days and my odometer will hit 100,000 miles! Yeah!
50k miles in the last 2.5 years with no issues! Yeah! I will be satisfied if it lasts to 150k but my wife is expecting that it better go to 200k miles..... oh boy....
If I can get it pass 150K, I think she will allow me to get a used 911.
