I got gold, although I had no idea which one I was ordering (from 986online.com) since there was no photo nor description of the color. Blind faith, I guess.

I just got a replacement silver-plated badge from Wheel Enhancement, and Dave Martin of WE was very helpful in installing it for me. He used something that looked like dabs of plumber's putty to act as washers. Maybe some type of silicate that won't harden. Very professional job.

Thanks. The first order of business for me is to get the old nuts out of the hood. While the badge flew off, the parts in the hood remain.
