Your code should be 7161 and if that doesn't work try 7150
Some of these units come up with two options although the primary one
usually works.

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried both codes, but they didn’t work. Would it make a difference if the radio came from a 996?

No shouldn't make a difference as the headunits are the same...
I just ran your make and serial again and those numbers 7161 or 7150 are correct
according to the code cipher.... everyone once in a while I seem to get a discrepancy. So you may have to contact the dealer for this one...

2189 should be your code - if that doesn't work try 1187.
