boxster muffler

I purchased an after-market muffler from Ebay for my 1999 Boxster. It sounds great was under $300.00 with/shipping and my local exhaust shop installed it in under 2-hours (had to wait for the exhaust to cool down).

The best thing about the new muffler besides the sound, is that it weighes about half as much as the factory muffler and my rear trunk no longer cooks whatever I leave in it.

What do you mean by Charlie Chan? The company that made my muffler had nothing to do with Charlie Chan. Are we not better than that?

Charlie Chan refers to a board thread/joke regarding the muffler (just do a search). I apologize if I offended.

The bolt on tips were for later year boxsters. I am not sure which year. I think post 2005 or all 987's.
