It is pretty amazing how interchangeable these different parts are from different Porsche's!

Talking

must admit the more I'm thinking about it I'm leaning towards not painting the wheels, or at least seeing them on the car first rather than rushing into it

thanks for all your comments/opinions

Put them on the car and then Photoshop a picture of them...It could give you all kinds of ideas!

The infamous Tool Pants over on Renntech kindly posted a pic of a porsche with yellow rims as an idea of what they could look like

now I'm really in two minds as to me they look pretty damn good!

DO IT! That would really be the icing on the cake! I've wanted black rims on my triple black box FOREVER and haven't gotten around to doing it yet! The polished lip would really set it off and add just enough visual contrast to avoid the "ricer" look. I SAY DO IT!

I will first start off by saying that I am somewhat biased against the colour of your car, in that I do not like yellow anything.

That being said, I think your car looks quite sharp, but I would go with black and silver wheels instead of yellow. IMHO, colour coded wheels (except on black or silver cars) make the car look... well... like it belongs to a 21 year old with more dollars than sense.
