Forgestar F14 Wheels for Porsche 18"

It's getting harder and harder to find light 18" wheels that aren't absurdly priced.
Those Forgestar F14s look pretty sweet! I will have to give them some thought.

1st thing you'll quickly learn: affordable and Porsche wheels are mutually exclusive.

For 18 x 8 front wheels, you'll need an ET (offset) of 50.
For 18 x 10 rears, you'll need ET of 47.

If the 996 wheels have similar ETs, they'll work. The fronts are generally similar between the two. The problem occurs with the rears. They may be quite a bit off (like 65 vs 47).

I sort of wish I would have picked those up for my winter wheels. I opted for replica 997 Turbo wheels and the weight is just too much, particularly in the rear.
Snow tires and heavy wheels are not a good mix.
One of the rears cracked this winter, shredded the expensive tire and most of the wheel shops that sell replica wheels will not discount a replacement, they'll bill half the cost of all four replicas.
So the cost-savings went right out the window. Spending $200 on spacers didn't help either.

Or maybe Forgestar does the same thing. Best to call and ask what the cost of replacing one wheel would be. If you drive on winter roads, which take a beating with the salting, its likely you'll damage at least one of those wheels beyond repair.
