There is a guy selling a tan 3 spoke wheel on 6 speed online for $150. You can buy it and have it wrapped so it has whatever color and stitching you like.

perhaps more speed would be bad, if you spend more time staring at your steering wheel than the road....

$800 for 12hp seems a bit... steep. If I was in that position, I'd get the 3-spoke wheel. Or keep saving the cash and put on something even nicer. Who knows.
