No heat. Any suggestions?

John, you know, it might just be your ignition switch going out, but if you've replaced this recently it's probably the heater core.

I replaced the ignition switch about 6 months ago so hopefully that's not the problem. I did find there is a heat actuation relay in the bank so I'm going to replace that tonight and see if it does anything. Otherwise, like you say, I'm afraid it's the core.

It has not happened to me with the Porsche but with my Audi it was the thermostat(in the radiator) gone bad.

Are you talking about the coolant temp sensor?

I was also considering the interior temp sensor since that has been a problem with others in the 928, but it usually gives you an always hot situation.

It was the "Actuation Heating" relay (#18). Replaced it and the defog vents work now and everything is toasty again. I love those $5 fixes!
