Purschased my first Black 1998 Boxster - Australia!
Hi All,
Today marks a very special day for me, i finally purchased a Porsche Boxster, i just took it for a drive down the coast and the feel of the wind in your hair and the roar of the exhaust is well and truly amazing. Anyway i have been looking at all the posts on here and i am overwhelmed with how helpful people can be in regards to fixing/modding/rectifying problems with them, heres a few photos!
If anyone knows were i can get some LED tail lights and shipping to Australia that would be awesome, thanks!

Nice Ride!!! Welcome to the forums!!! As far as LED's you can search ebay, however, these have been difficult to locate recently. Especially if you want the smoked out ones. Not sure why but it's been a crap shoot as to who is selling them at any given moment. They used to be available every where a couple of months ago, but now they are difficult to find. Good luck!!!

Very Nice. It's set up very similar to mine. You should tint/nightshade the top half of the rear lights for that look that you want if you haven't done anything yet. It's cheap and in my opinion looks better than changing out the lights to smoked. It looks like the owner before you nightshaded or tinted the yellow part of the front headlights. It would be that same look.

Tail lights
Hi Redmond,
I bought some tail lights from Suncoast parts in the US - red 550 style not LEDs. Shipping to WA was no probs, great service, but it adds to the cost a bit.
Cheers

I thought I heard that the Depo lights were outlawed by some European regulation. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I am extremely happy with mine. Hopefully they are being re-engineered and will be available some time soon. Great looking Box by the way and welcome to the forum

That's one stealthy looking Boxster, I can see why you might want to change out the tails. Last bit of orange on that beast.

Nice looking car; congrats and welcome!
I just bought a pair of smoke Depo LEDs from Autodynamic.com (out of California). I paid $179 plus shipping ($199 in total). They are set to arrive this Tuesday. Hope this helps... Good luck.
BTW- What did you use to darken the turn signals on your headlights?

Ps. Izman100 I used smoke spray it's around $15 a can, be very cautious when using it it likes to run if you use a lot of it! But certainly does the job, also try plastidip works just as good and can peel off also a can $15
