to watch. I really will only watch it if there is a car on there I particularly like. All three of the hosts are terrible. When leno, and tim allen were the proposed hosts, the show had possibility....when they passed on the show it should have never seen the light of day. The stunts are all just vague copies of previous top gear Uk shows. The funny part about the UK top gear is you get the impression they are all genuinely car guys and have known each other for long enough for the jokes and ribbing to be genuine. The American top gear has none of this and you get the impression the hosts have known each other for all of about 15 minutes and everything feels scripted. If they would just cut the humor and simplify things and make it a car review show I might watch it more often (kind of like motorweek
).
