Hello, new Boxster owner, what wheels are these?

Hello all. I've been wanting a Boxster for a while now and I bought a 2003 Boxster S a couple weeks ago. Such a fun car to drive and love the looks of it. I never dug dip into the Boxster offerings, posted a pic of the car online and was questioned about the wheels on it.

So I got to looking around at 2003 Boxster pictures and have not seen these wheels on one.

Anyone know what wheels are on this car? Thanks!

Hello,

They look like the CUP rims from a 964 911 or 968, very early 90's

Thanks for the reply smagerstein. I'll have to looks up those cars and years. Wonder why these wheels went onto this car. I forgot to mention they are 17' wheels.

These are the stock 18" wheels right? I wonder how hard they are to get a hold of?

I don't think these wheels were ever stock on a Boxster. They look like Carrera wheels to me.

Looking at pics online at kelley blue book, edmunds and like this article at motor trend they show these wheels on the 2003 Boxster S.

Those are 18 in Carrera wheels option code 411 for a Boxster. I have those wheels (04 S) and the option code on the front hood sticker is 411
