Tyres for Zehn 19"

These are the tyre specs they suggest for the 19s Johnny..

19" Victor Equipment Zehn
Alloy Wheel & Tyre Package
This Package Includes:
2x 19" Victor Equipment Zehn Alloy Wheels
(Wheel Specifications: 19 x 8.0" 5x130 ET45 FRONT)
2x 19" Victor Equipment Zehn Alloy Wheels
(Wheel Specifications: 19 x 9.5" 5x130 ET49 REAR)

2x 235/35R19 Falken FK453 Tyres
(Tyre Specifications: 235/35R19 91Y XL FRONT)
2x 265/30R19 Falken FK453 Tyres
(Tyre Specifications: 265/30R19 93Y XL REAR)
Would prefer 35 profile i think on the rears......

I wouldn't change the aspect ratio on the rears - stick with 30's . However, I would recommend going with 275's instead of 265's . IMO it strikes a better balance with 235's up front.

Hi Pete,
Where abouts in Essex are you - I've been following this thread with baited breath, can't wait to see the outcome. Not sure how you function on so little sleep. You post are funny though. At least you have Johnny D on the case - can't go wrong there:)

That made me chuckle ...!!!! Brill..

Have had a good offer on the Carerra LWs and a chap is coming up Friday
so will all work out in the end..

He has a 1999 Carrera 2 - 3.4 996 narrow body so hopefully the 18s will fit straight on.
If anybody knows ?? 18" 50ET front and 65ET rear

They should fit fine . That's what they designed for.

By the way, once you get your new wheels on and everything is dialed in just right, I suggest moving your steering over to the left side where it belongs. The driving experince is much better that way ! :)

Slang... What would we do without it?

Like dude I got trashed the other night just chillin with this sweet hooker that was all juiced-up, for real, as soon as she said her ex was busted for pushing weed and is now in the slammer, and that he knocked her up, I bailed faster than a New York minute.

Jager 03-07-2013 05:30 PM

Yo, Yo, Yo, what up Biatch!

Jbocio 03-09-2013 09:02 AM

I've been contemplating purchasing these for a while. I finally pulled the trigger yesterday. Can't wait to get them (and see how they look on Pete's ride).
If anybody liked the Zehn's I found that the cheapest place to get them right now is Discount tire direct.

They have a coupon for 70 bucks off all Victor Equipment until March 31st, as well as free shipping. It is $1050 for the set (18 inch). I also ended up trying out the Hankook V12's, which received a free mounting and balancing job.

Cool...Gonna look awesome on the Boxster...Should also fill the arches up nicely
Doing away with the Victor centre badges and have just bought some nice black Porsche centres..
Waiting for a fine day to get outside..weather in UK has turned crap again !!
Going to do a disc change, along with pads, stainless lines and brake fluid change to Ate blue while the wheels are off..
Oh and also ordered up some black chrome wheel nut caps to complete the look

Will keep you posted.....Tyres are Falken F453s

Pete I bought this same 996 wheel & tire package from a Porsche dealer because they were out of the Boxster pkg for my 2000 "S". The dealer included a pair of 24mm spacers which allowed the rear wheels & 285 tires to be mounted & driven but the tires were so close to the outer fender under hard cornering the 285's would rub the fender. This setup gave about 8mm clearance from the strut so I believe about 20mm spacer would be better. If you try that & have tire clearance issues you can still do like I did & sell the 285's & run the ideal size which is the 265 width.

Hi BYprodriver,

I have the same question I bought for my Boxster 2.7 2000 the same pack of Carrera Wheels BBS 18'''
Front 7.5 ET 50 tire 225/40
Rear 10 ET 65 Tire 265/35 Old Topic same question sorry , but I need to clarify****

In the front I don't have any problem
In the Rear even with a 20 MM Spacer it looks very close from the suspension :/ (few mm) is that OK ??

Appreciate any HELP !!!!
