Have you taken the old shifter out yet? My 9x7 shifter came with new ends, and thank goodness because the forward/backward end was totally chewed up, looked like a dog had chewed it. it is parts 10 and 11 on this diagram if you can't reuse the ones from your existing shifter.

Thanks to you both. No I havent looked at my existing shifter linkage yet, car has 114k miles so you might be correct and they may need replacing anyway. If thats the case it may be worth returning and getting one that includes them. This one was $75 and has 60k miles, so it was a decent deal. AOS should be here today sometime so the shifter may wait till next weekend...
