Yeah that's what I was thinking with going with a 964 or 993 Turbo. The rise in value would have payed for the cost of showing the car.

But if he was going to go the money losing route with a water-cooled Porsche, I kinda of think he parked the right Carrera. A standard 997 that's probably slower around the track than a Boxster Spyder wasn't a huge loss to the community as far as utility. Had he let a GT3 or GT2 go to waste well for me that would have been sad. But then again so many people put those into the wall on their own...
