Snow driving

I did it for 9 winters in NY. My limitations were over 4" of snow since at that point the nose would sink and there would be too much snow under the car to drive effectively. I did use winter set of Bridgestones Blizzard tires which coped with the winter driving adequately. My first car was a VW bug that drove over everything so logically speaking the Boxster's configuration is not much different engine in front of wheels instead of behind as the VW, therefore I knew what I could expect from the Boxster in the winter and I have to say it never let me down.
