A salient point, Randall. I was hit broadside about 15 years ago and suffered some upper neck injuries. Physical therapy at the time provided some relief and I was told nothing more could be done short of surgery. Five years later, while lifting something heavy, the pain in my neck reappeared but with a great deal more severity. Of course by then, I had settled with my insurance company. I still get epidural injections each year to ease the pain.
