Rear Wheel Bearing Extractor and Installer Kit

I have what I believe may be a bad rear wheel bearing. Going to investigate further this weekend. Should I need to remove and replace has anyone used this kit from Pelican? I know I can take the carrier to a shop and have the bearing removed and installed, but I would just as soon be able to do it myself. Is there a better/cheaper kit out there? Thanks!

Here is the kit:
