Smile Just got my Boxster

Well,

Just got my Boxster S today and I am really excited.

Had it up to 103 mph and felt some vibration from wheel balance. I may have to take it in for a truing and balancing.

Anyone have their tires trued ?

JT

Congrats, Jorge,

This is your 2nd Boxster and first S? That's great!

Are you sure you want to check tire balance so soon? My experience has been that tires need to settle down a bit when they are brand new...see how they feel after 100-200 miles?

Enjoy!

Wink Now you need to move

to a place where you can drive it more than 40 rain free days with the top down. Too bad Porsche doesnt make a 4 wheel drive Boxster. Have fun this summer while it lasts!

Bet some of those roads on the back side of Hood will be fun!

Oh, yea ... Especially on the way to Estacada. Nothing but winding roads following a river bordered by mountains and very few State Troopers

Thumbs up Those roads are my favorites

I lived in Portland for 4 years and always looked forward to road trips in that area - unfortunately I didnt have a Boxster at the time.

Congratulations! I heard this is your 2nd Boxster. Assuming you had the 2.7L previously, what do you think of the 5 speed vs. 6 speed? I would like to get your honest opinion.

IMHO, the power is great ! The transmision is ok. Actually, 3rd gear is kinda of awkward. You have to push really hard on the shifter to engage it. Other than that, I love the car.
