The magazine Excellence just did a piece on CaymanS and it is an excellent piece I think the most revealing so far. It does confirm the fact that the Cayman was actually quicker than the 3.6 997 by 4 seconds on the Nurburgring Ring and it also bested the Boxster S by 7 ticks. I quote "
GT & RS models aside, the new Cayman is the best handling production Porsche". Maybe a targa version would excite me but for me now, the Boxster rules. The Boxster is its purest form the true Porsche the sports car that Dr. Porsche would want to associate with. Exquisite lines with a timeless design and add handling that is out of this world.
