Monday production date

My dealer just e-mailed me saying he received an "estimated production date" of October 24.

That's a . . . . . . Monday.

Are the intial "estimated" production dates likely to hold? Should I panic? Any recourse other than to get religion and start lighting candles or throwing clams at the sunrise?
