The new mount is definitely more robust, 37K is plenty for it to be junk, mine went at like 20K. I truly believe it's the heat build up where it resides that contributes to failure. You may want to look at Pedro's creations if you want a really fortified mount. Otherwise the new factory unit is better. My advise? Mark the pieces and orientation before replacement, it can be installed wrong.

This ^ is spot on. We broke a '08 Boxster with 35k on the clock and the mount was broken, why Porsche could not make a decent modification after all this time is beyond me!
