I put Shell Rotella T6 in (opinions not necessary I did my research). I did have some quiet ticking on cold start that I could also hear when warm and close to a building.

Nice and quiet, now. Seems more smooth overall, too.
Happy for now...we will see.

Rotella T6 has been my go-to oil for a last decade on my turbo Saabs and no issues with my Boxster for 2+ years of my entire ownership. I trust that my IMS bearing is thanking for splash of oil with higher zinc content when I keep the rev above 3,000 rpm for most driving once warmed up.

Nice looking car. The only thing I don't like is Tags on the front bumper.

Yeah, me too. The issue is it is the law here in Manitoba. Our neighbours to the west, Saskatchewan and Alberta don't need them from what I remember but here they are required. Something about photo radar according to my ex cop Bro in law.

They really do ruin the front end of 99% of vehicles.
