Sorry for the delay! I bought the lights online and followed a Youtube video to install them.

+1 on the led lights. Those are nice!!!

OK, the lights......there is a very fine line between Neat and Cheesy. I am 58 years old and I have to admit I like your lights. Did you have to drill a hole to install these and if so how did you treat the hole to prevent rust in the future ?

Thanks

Thank you for liking my lights.:D
Yes, I had to drill holes on the bottom of the doors to put the lights in. I followed this video to install them: Install Door Welcome Logo Lights - YouTube

New Aos

I just changed my AOS and cleaned the throttle body now have to put it all back together.

Will probably wash the engine while I have it apart.

Yesterday I reinstalled the wiper gutter after re-dying it black from the faded gray. Looks good! Also replaced the struts on the frunk as well (trunk is being done today).

Put a new set of tires on the Jägermobile (Pilot Super Sports)... Again. Changed the oil in the Jägermobile... Again. Washed the Jägermobile... Again. When will it ever end?

JayG 09-20-2014 06:53 PM

Put a set of Hankook V12 evo2 on and they feel great.
Only problem is the Mother Fu(k#r's scratched all 4 wheels!
At least they stepped up top the plate and have a top quality wheel repair company coming on Monday to refinish all 4 wheels

My wheels were 8.5 out of 10 before, I guess now they will be 10's

Finished this Tamiya 1:24 scale model which I painted to match my own car.

Got some dust on the car prior to the pics. The paint actually came out okay. I'm quite rusty and haven't made a plastic model in probably 30 years.

BFeller 09-23-2014 09:38 AM

The model car is great looking. I never learned how to get the dust off a model.

Porsche9 09-23-2014 09:54 AM

The model is pretty cool.

Giller 09-23-2014 10:07 AM

I love this idea! I've looked around for a scale model for my desk at work, but you cannot find one in the right colour (silver/metropol blue). Get a model and paint it! So simple it's brilliant! Thanks!

Test fitted a new-to-me spoiler cap and figured out what I did wrong when installing the last one. Now gotta wait for more rivets from Hendrick Porsche so I can install it.

Added Aux cable and deleted ash tray

I was bummed the ash tray delete didn't come with something to better cover up the star bolts. I'm guessing there is a rubber insert like the ones in the door sill cubbies, but I didn't know to order that.

Any one have a better solution for covering those stars so it looks more finished and they don't collect gunk?

I'm guessing you tapped into the courtesy light in the door rather than going through the trouble of running the wire through the door and to the "dome" light wires?

It should have come with the rubber insert as part of the ashtray delete kit.
