I went to the EuroCar show for a few hours. Then I installed my new to me 987 shifter. What a difference, it's like a new car.

Nice! I just bid on a 997 shifter.

I hope you win the bid. You will love it. Super easy to install as well.

It sounds like no one was injured. Hopefully the damage is not bad. Good Luck.

I am very sorry to see that this has happened so early in your ownership of this car.

Scraped front right fender, WOW!

Wife hit the side of the garage and no I did not take a picture, and I will not post;-(

Any way she scraped the right front fender and right bumper and side marker.
It looked minor until we get it to a high end body shop I have used many times in the past with very good results. This young Geico kid comes out and says it's $1400 for it's estimate, I laughed out loud and indicated that he may need to look up some of the Porsche parts in his little computer. Take it to the shop and we are at 5k and counting!

So here is the reason I am sharing this embarrassing turn of events. It seems the right side ac condenser was damaged and is being replaced. What do I need to know about recharging the AC? Also they pulled the battery what could happen? Radio, Codes?
Any direction or gotchas regarding the recharge of the AC?
Thanks.

PS. At least they are cleaning the rads and boy for a 07 pcar with 33k miles that stays garaged it sure was dirty!
Thanks!

I fixed mine. It had a failed crank position sensor. The durametric really paid for itself by helping me diagnose the issue.

Drove PA 74 between Carlisle and Port Royal--without any trucks or farm equipment in my way.

After a couple months of looking around, finally found an airbag to match my 3 spoke steering wheel conversion last week! Luckily the mailman was early today so I had some time to throw it on the car along with some aluminum pedals I found dirt cheap on eBay. Thank you once again Heliguy!

Took my Boxster base to the local indy with request to install new water pump/ thermostat and a camshaft position sensor. Hopefully the latter will extinguish the steady CEL light. Cheers, G.

I love those wheels... for $1600 total I'd say it's an "excellent" deal. Where did you get that body kit? It looks really good.
