Thanks, when I get my car back I'm going to first see about getting the parking lights back in the headlight units, this will be my second option. I am going to tap into the side markers and have a connection I can unsnap so I can remove the bumper cover if I go this route. How are these lights attaching to the bumper. Are you using 3M double sided trim adhesive?

Just got my LED 718 style tail lights yesterday and they look awesome on my black Boxster!
Fit and gaps/lines are pretty good, not quite OEM but close. One light has a little extra black sealant showing under the lens but not too noticeable. I'll adjust the fit a little when it's above freezing, and I cannot wait until the snow melts and I can get it out in the sun to really see them. Here is a pic of the right unit installed. http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1552009502.jpg |
Changed the AOS, cleaned the top and front of the engine, rerouted the overflow for the power steering so it doesn't dump on the top of the engine. Bent some typing to go around the AC compressor and down the front of the engine. Debated if I should do the AOS but when I pulled the intake to service the starter there was a lot of oil in the intake. The one in the car had a part number ending 00 and the new one was 01. Also going to replace the old hard intake boots.

http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02/71811552271446.jpg installed 718 lights. They work fine, but a few shoddy details: too much wire, fit is not as close tolerance as OEM, no clip like OEM to clip excess wiring so wires are too lose, clip incorrectly labeled R was Left and L was Right. |

Have you DIY the serpentine belt?
I have seen multiple you tube videos on replacing the serpentine belt. Is it really that simple? How many here have done this seemingly easy task?
