Got your attention. LOL
What are people general thoughts on speedster humps? I may pick up a pair tomorrow that are already painted my color. Any thoughts?

If I really wanted a Pontiac Solstice or Batmobile instead of a Boxster then fine.
Don't care for those Humps really. They just dont quite have the right look to my eye.
I'd sooner get new front bumper air dam or wide look panels to make it look like a track racer (Not a street racer)
Thats just my taste so really you should do what makes you smile.
There will be as many opinions on this as there are people who own Boxsters.
Even asking the SO what she likes is a big mistake....your toy...your choice!

My vehicle came with the factory "speedster kit". I hated them from both an aesthetic point of view, as well as a design one. I found them to be not only goofy looking, but they were a total pain in the a** to put on and take off. In fact, if one isn't very careful installing them, you run the risk of scratching or denting the tonneau cover. Also, good luck if you're caught in rain . Not only are they a total pain in the a** to stow, it's like a Chinese fire drill trying to get them off and the top up asap.
*I have nothing against Asian people, it's just a phrase . My 5th wife was actually a geisha .

not a fan. they look fine on the spyder, but it was designed for them. they just look out of place otherwise.

They look nice with a complete body kit, otherwise they odd on a stock car IMO.

I wouldn't put one on my car, but I do like the way the car looks with them on.

I wouldn't put one on my car = I have no interest in sporting one for myself. Not due to cost. Not due to difficulty of installing one. I just don't find them interesting enough to warrant myself strapping a speedhump to the back of my Boxster.
I do like the way the car looks with them on = However, the general appearance of a Boxster with speedhumps on it does "fit" the look and complements the car nicely. While I wouldn't say they 'complete the look', they do look right on the car.
Sheesh, Jaay....

Or, are you referring to your "poll?"
Score is 0-5-1. 0 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw.

Thanks for the reply. Thanks for the poll update. I do have the luxury of trying them out first. So pics and thoughts to come tomorrow.
