Key Head with light replacement

I accidentally ordered a replacement key head (without remote function) for a 944 instead of my 986,

however its the same, though the 986 one comes with a transponder for the immobiliser which needs reprogramming, wheras the 944/968 key does not come with a transponder in it.

I was replacing my old one so i just transferred the coded transponder across from my old key head to the new one.

Hope this helps someone out, may save a few bucks.
