UPDATE:

Fuel checked out to be normal. (Thanks guys at the NM department of Agraculture) After getting into the fuel tank
and removing the Fuel Level sending unit, it was easy to spot the culprit. Broken clips that should have been holding
the pressure regulator in place were not. A quick online order to pelican parts and I was up and running an hour after
my part arrived. Car runs like new again.
