The Sound Of Bliss...
Ran several errands today at lunch with the stereo off and just listening to the sweet sound of that flat-6. What an engine! What a wonderful sound!
Pure bliss.

I don't ever have the radio on, I use the sound button below it with the exhaust outlet icon on it.

My girlfriend said something that actually shocked/surprised/impressed me.
I asked if she wanted to plug in her iphone to listen to her music for a drive.
Her response was: "Nah...I like the way your car sounds"

I don't believe grouping sport exhaust with a pre recorded track makes any sense. The burbles and song of my car are being generated by the car. Now, one can argue (successfully I might add) that the sport exhaust option is an expensive do nothing for performance option. However, ask yourselves this boys, if you negotiated for a car you wanted and said option was in that car, would you not be pressing the button? I press sport plus and exhaust as soon as it's running.

Pre-recorded engine sound? Synonomous with sacreligious, blasphemous, heresy, and poseur. BMW's M5 engineering team should be burned at the stake for doing such a thing.

I find the radio annoying especially with the top down. My girl never asks to turn it on unless she is drunk and it is late at night. I will use it with the top up on the way to the mountains, but once there it’s off!
