From what I have seen they typically go for $1000 for a good one. If it was myself I would look for one in good condition. That one looks like it needs work. This depends on your financial situation and whether you want to work on it. If you think you could fix it, then u could probably get it for what you suggested. Good luck!

I am just curious, why would one want a hard top? I think the soft top looks much better.

I live in Tampa and I use my hardtop from June thru Sept. Just too damn hot to have the top down. Also, notice this guy is in Key Largo. Salt spray and nsun would tear up a top in no time down there with a few summers.

See Ryan post above. Here in Florida, our top down season is in sync with the Southern hemisphere, top down October - April, top up May- September. It would be nice to have the option of putting the hard top on in the spring and leave it on through the fall.
