Headlight problem. Won't come out. Alen spinning around

I just popped my headlight out and checked. It's definitely one solid bar and only rotates 180 degrees, even with the light removed, so something may be stripped.

I would suggest using a ratchet w/ extension to access the latch head to check before buying any new parts. In my case, I thought I had a stripped locking mechanism when it was only a stripped access tool! Tool was junk, using a ratchet now and everything works perfectly.
