27, and I'm already having a
Midlife crisis, so I guess I'm only living until 54 :-( |
Turned 52 a couple weeks ago and decided to buy myself a birthday present.
1st Porsche, 1st European sports car. I should have bought one eons ago. It all started when I decided a few years ago that i hated the plain looks of every tin can on 4 wheels. I wanted a sexy looking car for a change and thought that it would be a good idea to build a replica Porsche GT out of a boxster wreck with one of those body kits. The girlfriend convinced me that spending years in the garage working on another project would make her sad and miss me too much. I thought that since I was going to spend around $15k anyway I might as well get a driveable Boxster and have some instant gratification, and when it does die some day I'll have my basis for the GT. I had no idea I was going to love the Boxster so much for itself. Now Im hooked. |
approaching 53, but don't look a day over 60. Boxster since 45.

Hi All, this is my first Post I think I'm 46... just had B-Day in April...so still too soo to sink in yet. Been reading this forum since December ( when I found the Boxter I wanted ) didn't get it till mid April... Great Forum.. I read something everyday... trying to get my car back as close to new as possible so I'll have more than a few questions, hope thats ok.
No Porsche Dealer up here... but there is one Great privately owned shop, that Knows Porsches inside & out "TJ'S" so I'm lucky i that respect. So Hello from Wayyyyy up North in Newfoundland Canada. IMACMAN |

I'm 67 but my self-image is 24. But the reality principal (and my wife of 45 years) keep me from hitting on the women who would be interested in a 24 year old.
|
Had to think about it. I've been counting backwards since I hit 30. But if I'm not mistaken, 38! Maybe

They thought my Boxster was too impractical for big shopping days. My new hair guy has no license and relies on hot strippers to get him around. LOL. Quote:

Age?
Not sure of your age? to figure out your real age do this...
Pick a number between 2 and 9... Multiply this number by 2... Then add 5... Multiply it by 50... If you already had your Birthday this year add 1762 ... If you haven't add 1761.. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born...you should have a 3 digit number. The first digit of this was your chosen number... The next two numbers are your age  :D |
Bought the car at 19 but Im 20 now. 2000 base alaska silver.
